Qualitest is looking for a SCADA Data Maintenance Engineer for onsite position!

The SCADA Data Maintenance Engineer performs critical activities relating to designing, building, testing, implementing and maintaining SCADA solutions, products and processes.

Requirements

Possess the necessary level of knowledge and skills of SCADA/EMS-related real-time, historian, and relational databases for SCADA system support and data maintenance with a high-level understanding of complex power systems and design

Analyze, integrate, and maintain real-time Intelligent Electronic Devices (IEDs) and computer systems in SCADA

• Ability to translate operational requirements and visualize the electrical network state into database configuration
• Ability to produce high-quality deliverables while maintaining schedule commitments
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to communicate well and quickly to troubleshoot problems
• Strong business ethics
• Experience in writing SQL scripts in Oracle/MySQL/SQL
• Knowledge of programming and/or scripting languages (C++, C#.Net, VB.Net, SQL, Python)
