The Cyber Security Engineer III plans and designs security solutions and capabilities that enable the organization to identify, protect, detect, respond, and recover from cyber threats and vulnerabilities.

Responsibilities:

• Define and develop security requirements using risk assessments, threat modeling, testing, and analysis of existing systems
• Develop security integration plans to protect existing infrastructure and to incorporate future solutions
• Create action plans for policy creation and governance, system hardening, monitoring, incident response, disaster recovery, and emerging cybersecurity threats
• Utilize security information and event management (SEIM), data loss prevention (DLP), intrusion prevention systems (IPS), and other tools in action plan designs
• Review current architecture and systems to ensure consistency and compliance with the organization's guidelines, policies, and standards
• Keep abreast of the latest cyber threat information.

Here's what you need:

• 7 years of related experience with any of the following areas:
  • Security information and event management (SEIM), data loss prevention (DLP), intrusion prevention systems (IPS), and other tools in action plan designs
  • Define and develop security requirements using risk assessments, threat modeling, testing, and analysis of existing systems
  • Develop security integration plans to protect existing infrastructure and to incorporate future solutions
  • Create action plans for policy creation and governance, system hardening, monitoring, incident response, disaster recovery, and emerging cybersecurity threats

Bonus points if you have:

• Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)
• Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)

Eligibility Requirements:

• Requires an active TS/SCI and will need to obtain and maintain CI polygraph

 

 

As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, New York, Washington, Vermont, and the District of Columbia. The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set and level of experience.
