Job Summary
Regularly works within and monitors work flow of Inbound activities: acts as a problem solver, resource and trainer within the department. Involved in the collection and analysis of pertinent Inbound data. Provides input to coordinator to support effective business processes and efficiency in all Inbound practices. Acts as a backup in the absence of the department coordinator.
Essential Functions & Accountabilities
- Acts as a resource and trainer regarding current and developing processes and procedures within the Inbound department.
- Maintains an ongoing understanding of current Inbound procedures.
- Supports the collection and analysis of pertinent Inbound related data as directed.
- Assists Inbound Coordinator in prioritizing and organizing the daily work flow and priorities.
- Encourages and perpetuates open communication as well as a “team atmosphere” throughout the department.
- Provides feedback and input to coordinator/management as necessary regarding performance and processes throughout the department.
- May perform responsibilities of Inbound coordinator in coordinators absence as authorized by management.
- Performs product replenishment and receipt put-away activities.
- Performs receipt of goods via RF.
- Assists with the development and implementation of all Inbound processes.
- Works directly with department trainer and leadership team members to actively support the Inbound training program and departmental objectives
- Must work extended hours to complete daily priorities as necessary.
- Presents in team meetings on a weekly/monthly basis
General Job Requirements:
- Works scheduled holidays in order to maintain service levels for customers.
- As business needs dictates, works extended hours to complete daily department goals or tasks to mandatory Saturdays.
- Works scheduled hours and is ready to work at scheduled start times, notifies Supervisor prior to absence or tardiness in accordance with company policy.
- Immediately informs Coordinator/Supervisor/Manager of safety, sanitation, and equipment malfunctions and concerns regarding quality issues.
- Exhibits good communication skills – verbal, written, and comprehension of the English language.
- Adhered to Standard Operating Procedures and Regulatory requirements.
