General Summary of Duties:

The Facility Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing various maintenance and repair tasks to ensure our car wash locations operate efficiently and safely. This role involves hands-on work, including routine inspections, preventative maintenance, and repairs on equipment and facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular inspections of equipment and facilities to identify necessary repairs.
• Perform preventative maintenance on car wash equipment and facilities.
• Handle carpentry, basic plumbing, concrete work, and minor electrical repairs.
• Troubleshoot and resolve basic electrical and plumbing issues.
• Respond to maintenance requests from site managers and address issues in a timely manner.
• Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs, and supplies.
• Collaborate with external vendors and contractors for specialized services as needed.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Assist in training site personnel on equipment usage and maintenance best practices.
• Travel between various locations for maintenance and repair needs.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• 8-10+ years of experience in facility maintenance or a related field.
• Experience in construction and carpentry.
• Strong knowledge of carpentry, basic plumbing, concrete work, and minor electrical repairs.
• Welding experience is a plus but not required.
• Effective troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel.
• Must own necessary hand tools for maintenance tasks.
