Our goal is to design, implement and maintain our production and cloud-based infrastructure with innovative, efficient methodologies and robust security practices.</p><p><strong>The Role</strong></p><p>As we continue to grow, we are now seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer. In this role, you'll be driving a wide range of projects, expected to operate independently while also offering guidance and support to your colleagues and all Viva Wallet employees. This role involves working across multiple teams including architects, program management leads, and engineering leads within the Technology Group.</p><p><strong>What you will do</strong></p><ul> <li>Design, implement, maintain, configure, and administer CI/CD and IaC infrastructure, preferably using Terraform.</li> <li>Research innovative technologies to find new and efficient ways to solve day to day challenges.</li> <li>Ensure secure and efficient operations by following design principles and leveraging DevOps methodologies.</li> <li>Automate repetitive tasks in order to make the processes faster and more efficient, while also reducing human error, improving consistency, efficiency and productivity.</li> <li>Monitoring the processes during the entire lifecycle for its adherence and updating or creating new processes for improvement and minimizing the wastage</li> <li>Fostering communication between development, operations, infrastructure, and quality assurance teams.</li> <li>Willing to join our engineering team at Viva Wallet HQ in Marousi, with physical presence.</li> </ul><p><strong>Tech stack</strong></p><p>Our technological environment primarily comprises Azure cloud, using its SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS, including Azure Active Directory, Office 365, SharePoint, etc. Operating systems include Windows and Linux, with Azure DevOps as our core tool.</p><p><strong>Requirements</strong><br/></p><p>To be considered for the Senior DevOps Engineer role, you should have:</p><ul> <li>Extensive demonstrable experience (5+ years) as a DevOps Engineer, with prior experience in a senior role.</li> <li>Profound understanding of Microsoft Azure services, including expert-level knowledge in deployment, resource administration, and maintenance.</li> <li>In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Windows server administration and Linux server administration (Ubuntu, Debian).</li> <li>Expertise in container technologies (Docker, OpenShift) and orchestrators (Docker Swarm, Kubernetes).</li> <li>Substantial experience in automation scripting like Shell/Bash scripting, PowerShell, Python etc.</li> <li>Deep understanding of versioning and revision control, preferably Git.</li> <li>Experience with multiple industry-standard CI/CD platforms such as JetBrains, TeamCity and/or Jenkins.</li> <li>Solid knowledge of building automation platforms such as Maven and Gradle with a particular focus on mobile application platforms.</li> <li>Strong analytical and excellent problem-solving skills with a self-driven and solution-oriented attitude.</li> </ul><p>In addition to the above, we value candidates with the following:</p><ul> <li>Extensive experience with Microsoft Azure DevOps and AZ CLI.</li> <li>Solid understanding of code analysis services like SonarCloud.</li> <li>Familiarity with distributed systems platform like Azure Service Fabric.</li> <li>Advanced knowledge of APIs (JSON, REST, SOAP).</li> </ul><p><strong>What we offer</strong></p><ul> <li>Competitive salary package (share options plan)</li> <li>Annual bonus based on targets’ achievement</li> <li>Health and life insurance for you and your family</li> <li>Top of the Line tools and equipment</li> <li>Career and competencies development</li> <li>Modern workspace environment</li> </ul><p><br/></p>
