Position Information 

Join the El Paso District Construction Office team as a Transportation Specialist II, III, or IV and play a critical role in delivering impactful transportation projects that connect and serve our communities. In this dynamic position, you will monitor the progress and performance of construction projects, ensuring work is completed in accordance with plans, specifications, and contract requirements. You will collaborate closely with Area Offices to provide technical guidance on construction methods, resolve field issues, and support effective contract administration. Your expertise will be essential in reviewing and guiding change orders, promoting consistency, accuracy, and compliance with established procedures and standards. Additionally, you will participate in final construction inspections and oversee traffic control operations to ensure safety and quality in the field. This role requires a strong commitment to maintaining compliance with PS&E, as well as state and federal regulations, while upholding the high standards expected for public infrastructure projects.       Salary Range:
      Transp. Specialist I   (B20): $51,158 - $81,351 annually
      Transp. Specialist II  B21):  $54,278 - $87,046 annually                                 

      Transp. Specialist III (B22): $57,614 - $93,138 annually
