Job Description Qualifications:

The Pricing Strategy Manager (Virtual) will play a key role in driving the pricing and market offering strategy for the Boeing Digital Aviation Solutions (DAS) portfolio. This individual will be responsible for identifying strategic growth opportunities within the SaaS solution portfolio. The right candidate should be able to demonstrate experience in managing SaaS pricing, forecasting, and building long term revenue and growth models. You will work closely across various product teams as well as cross-functional teams to define new offers and offerings.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Influence the pricing and packaging strategy for the DAS product portfolio.
  • Define pricing & packaging programs to increase revenue and growth, capitalize on strengths and mitigate challenges for products.
  • Provide expertise to teams on pricing metrics, pricing & packaging strategies and frameworks. Ensure consistency across the entire product portfolio.
  • Define value metrics per product per segment and per buyer personas.
  • Research buyer motivations, analyze performance data and market trends to drive frequent iteration of pricing for DAS products.
  • Work across departments, including Product Management, Product Marketing, Sales, Finance and executive leadership to evaluate pricing strategy and models, pricing and packaging priorities and its impact on GTM plans.
  • Develop a pricing/packaging strategy that provides both customer and revenue growth.
  • Forms hypotheses, builds financial pricing models and presents business cases for new initiatives.
  • Propose pricing and packaging strategies that align to corporate strategy, customer expectations and financial goals.
  • Undertake pricing reviews to ensure that our pricing continues to achieve strategic goals and evolving market conditions.
  • Work with Product Management and Product Marketing counterparts to develop market, competitive and profitability analysis on current and prospective pricing changes.
  • Any other projects as assigned to help the Company meet its goals.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 5 years of enterprise software SaaS pricing strategy or related experience.
  • A team player orientation with the ability to critically think, problem-solve and possess a passion for data and analysis.
  • Sound understanding of SaaS software business models.
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a lot of ambiguity.
  • Very strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Proficiency with analytical software tools/languages such as MS Excel, Tableau, etc.
  • Excellent people and management skills to interact with customers, executive staff, colleagues, and cross-functional teams, and third parties.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills required.
  • Familiarity with strategic pricing research methodologies for example conjoint analysis, Van Westendorp price sensitivity analysis and Garbor-Granger pricing methodologies.
  • Self-starter and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Marketing, Business or an equivalent; MBA preferred.

Typical Education & Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 14 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+9 years' related work experience, Master+12 years' related work experience, 18 years' related work experience, etc.).
