Field Maintenance Representative

Our client, a leading industrial services provider, is seeking a skilled Field Maintenance Representative to join their team in Pasadena, TX. In this role, you will perform hands-on repairs to customer pumps at customer job sites, supervise or assist with troubleshooting, and complete necessary paperwork for jobs to service centers.

Responsibilities:

• Perform hands-on repairs to customer pumps at customer job sites
• Perform work, as assigned, in the designated Service Center when not at customer job site
• Supervise or assist with troubleshooting of problems, installation, assembly, or disassembly of pumps and/or seals at customer job sites
• Supervise and/or direct the work of contractors or customer coworkers at customer job sites
• Complete and forward all necessary paperwork for jobs to service centers
• Inform service center of any potential sales activities at customer site
• Support, cooperate with, and participate in company-wide LEAN and EHS Management System which includes following all safety, health and environmental policies and procedures
• Perform other duties as assigned, including in-shop work at Service Centers

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Five (5) years' experience with assembly of engineered, multi-stage pumps
• Three (3) years' experience performing both supervisory and hands-on field service of engineered, multi-stage pumps at customer sites
• Strong ability to utilize technical knowledge and analytical skills to resolve problems and customer complaints
• Excellent written, verbal, negotiation, and listening skills
• Computer skills with knowledge of the latest Microsoft software
• Machinist experience is a plus
• Familiarity with machine shop practices is a plus
