The 2025 dsm-firmenich Summer Internship Program will begin June 9th, 2025 and run through August 14, 2025 
 

Our standard working hours are Monday – Friday (37.5 / 40 hours per week)

We are currently looking for an Intern in SHE&S (Safety, Health, Environment, Security) at our Germantown, WI office.

Your key responsibilities: 
 

  • Foster a culture where SHE&S is ingrained as a core value.
  • Support implementation of the Process Safety risk assessments.
  • Provide support for sustainability projects and reports.
  • Analyse occupational exposure data and develop a mitigating action plan.
  • Actively participate in site safety training and awareness. 
  • Support the SHE team in managing actions and investigating incidents.

You Bring:

  • Currently working on completion of a Bachelor’s degree in safety, Environment, or related field
  • Candidates must be available to work full-time beginning on June 9, 2025 – August 14, 2025.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to synthesize and parse data.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills; able to manage priorities and workflow.
  • Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm.
     

The hourly rate for this position is $23.00 - $26.00 per hour.  Compensation will be dependent on factors that include location, education, training, specific skills, and years of experience.
