Retail Event Fleet Supervisor (CDL Required)

The Events Fleet Supervisor supporting the Retail Events team will be in charge of managing all vehicles documentation and movements throughout the United States throughout the year.  As the business needs, can utilize the CDL skill to assist with transporting merchandise to and from client events.

The Retail Events Fleet Supervisor is preferably a Class A CDL license holder with experience operating diesel-powered tractor-trailers combination/pick-up trucks, gooseneck trailers combination/pick-up trucks, tag trailer combination and others. 

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Maintains driver log according to DOT regulations.
  • Skilled to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Manages all reporting and ensures all documentation and standards are met with all vehicle movements
  • Inspects vehicles for defects before and after trips and submits report indicating their condition.
  • Ensures proper care, use, and organization of all equipment prior to, during, and after the event.
  • Maintenance, cleaning, and detailing of company vehicles.
  • Able to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Assists with loading and unloading, desired (negotiable)
  • Adheres to policies and procedures associated with the retail event personnel 
  • Drives and parks semi-tractor/trailer, equipment and other designated vehicle to events as scheduled and needed by the business 
  • Other duties may be assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

To perform this job successfully, the candidate must be able to perform each essential duty above at the highest levels. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

  • Valid Class “A” Commercial Driver’s License, required
  • Ability to drive out of state 20 – 30 weeks throughout the year. The length of stay will depend on the distance of travel and duration of the event.
  • Organized, self-motivated, team player who can work independently as well as within a group
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
