Retail Sales Team Lead

As the acting Manager on Duty, the Team Lead is responsible for coaching and mentoring associates on building rapport and comfortably connecting and presenting solutions on selling opportunities throughout the store while creating a customer centric environment. You will ensure high customer engagement while multitasking and assigning operational needs appropriately based on customer traffic.

Play a leadership role in helping your store, your people and your customers win. 

• Engage and inspire to achieve maximum performance with reinforcement of recognition tools as needed. Foster a sense of energy, ownership, teamwork and personal commitment for yourself and the team 
• Model the way to create a customer centric environment and ensure consistency across the store. Coach every associate to create a culture of consultative selling and total solutions while focused on the customer’s needs
• Support the services team through qualifying lead generation opportunities
• Drive profitable sales and service 
• Be flexible to perform other duties as assigned (i.e., operational tasks) 

Essential skills and experience:

• Able to work a flexible schedule (including nights and weekends)
• Previous experience leading others in a retail environment
• 1+ year experience selling products or services
• Ability to engage and speak to customers and understand their needs
• Ability to lift and move supplies in the 10-50 pound range, stand and walk continuously
