Salary: $18.00/hour (based on experience)

Position Type:  Full time or Part time, non exempt

Schedule: Monday - Friday 7:30am – 4:00pm

At Eastcastle Place, we’re looking for a Personal Trainer who is skilled in wellness programming, group exercise and able to modify exercises to meet the ability levels of the residents.

We are seeking a confident, creative, and patient Personal Trainer to join our Life Enrichment team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for developing and leading engaging fitness programs tailored to the needs of our residents across all levels of care, while fostering relationships built on mutual respect and trust. You'll need a positive mindset, a strong backbone, and a heart for service. You’ll work closely with other enrichment staff, nursing personnel, and wellness professionals to ensure our residents are supported physically, mentally, and emotionally through safe and fun physical activity.

What You Will Do:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Preferred one-on-one fitness training experience and/or experience leading group fitness classes
• Prior experience working with seniors preferred
• Excellent interpersonal and motivational skills
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Skilled in adaptability, quick thinking, and problem resolution
• Ability to connect with older adults in a respectful, professional manner
• Positive, creative, and proactive approach to health and wellness

 

What You Will Bring:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years of one-on-one fitness training experience
• Minimum of 1 year experience leading group fitness classes 
• Prior experience working with seniors preferred
• Valid driver's license and willingness to transport seniors to activities
• Excellent interpersonal and motivational skills
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Skilled in adaptability, quick thinking, and problem resolution
• Ability to connect with older adults in a respectful, professional manner
• Positive, creative, and proactive approach to health and wellness
