Job Description
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:
As a member of the ADSMT New Product Development team, this role is responsible for working with our local new product development team to ensure seamless implementations of new RFID products and processes.
Responsibilities
- Support qualification of new products and processes
- Identify key process parameters and create objective measurements to quantify and document the key process parameters to ensure manufacturing consistency and scalability
- Establish robust processes with the product development team to ensure new products and processes are properly validated and documented
- Write clear specifications and quality plans for manufacturing
- Conduct product testing and data analysis
- Create and improve manufacturing site validation processes
- Execute and observe while participating in the manufacturing validation trials
- Work with the Global Quality team to identify root causes and corrective actions and assist with corrective action deployment
- Transition best practices and SOPs to other RFID sites
Qualifications
WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO BRING TO THE TEAM:

Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree required; Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Chemical Engineering or related.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of Engineering experience required
- Proficient in project management
- Proficient in Autocad/drawing experience
- Experience with six sigma and lean manufacturing
- Working knowledge of printing and converting technologies
- Experience in RFID or semiconductor manufacturing preferred
- Experience with system hardware/software setup and integration
- Proven leadership skills – able to influence and motivate others
- High Energy, passion for excellence, bias for action
- Excellent technical skills
- Excellent project management skills
- Effective oral and written communication skills; ability to effectively present complex topics in a concise manner
- Effective interpersonal skills working with people at various levels and in a variety of functions
- Solid understanding of business issues, metrics, and customer value
- Fluent in English
- Due to business demands, there may be times you will receive calls on the weekends or need to come on-site, to support the weekend operations
- Global travel will be required, up to 10%.
