Job Description:

The School of Natural and Mathematical Sciences invites applications for a Visiting Assistant Professor in Chemistry with a focus on teaching freshman nursing chemistry (general, organic, and biochemistry) and general science courses.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Teach nursing chemistry lecture and laboratory courses
• Teach general science and non-majors’ chemistry courses
• Participate in departmental and school-wide activities, including:
• Department meetings
• Colloquium
• Other academic and service-related events

Requirements

• Ph.D. in Chemistry or a closely related field (required)
• Experience teaching in higher education is preferred, but not required
