What you'll do...

Join our Walmart Specialty Pharmacy team and play a vital role in providing personalized, affordable care for all.

As an Operations Manager, you will drive the development and implementation of business plans to achieve facility goals, manage front and back-end operations, and ensure compliance with company standards and regulations. You will also oversee inventory levels, optimize cost per prescription, and support the Senior Pharmacy Manager in strategic planning. Additionally, you will provide supervision and development opportunities for associates, promote diversity and inclusion, and ensure continuous quality improvement in patient care and pharmacy services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement business plans to achieve facility goals

  • Manage front and back-end operations, including monitoring licenses and certifications

  • Maintain proper inventory levels for maximum prescription fulfillment

  • Optimize cost per prescription and manage workflow capability

  • Support strategic planning and implementation

  • Ensure compliance with company standards and regulations

  • Obtain and renew necessary permits/licenses

  • Provide supervision and development opportunities for associates

  • Promote diversity and inclusion in the workplace

  • Drive continuous quality improvement in patient care and pharmacy services
