Position Summary
Virginia, USA, Remote
Thales is looking for a Senior Manager, Sales Enablement – Identity and Access Management (IAM) who will be the main business partner to our global Identity and Access Management customer facing team by providing adequate sales and product trainings that enable faster go to market and higher productivity.
In this position, you will drive and facilitate the overall learning journey for our sales teams and contribute to how we develop, deliver, and reinforce our content. You will also support new hires and new-to-role hires throughout their onboarding journey with Thales.
Key Areas of Responsibility
Develop and execute a comprehensive IAM enablement strategy aligned to the Global Sales Enablement Strategy and IAM business objectives, focusing on enhancing skills and knowledge for IAM direct sales and sales support teams.
Create and maintain IAM sales playbooks, covering sales best practices and processes.
Lead and facilitate virtual product education and coaching, as well as systems & process training to our global sales audience.
Identify and standardize common training content.
Partner with sales and product managers to develop content for onboarding and continuous education.
Act as an ambassador for Thales sales methodology, driving awareness and consumption of training content with the sales leadership and sales teams.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in business, marketing or related field.
8+ years of direct experience in sales, sales enablement, sales training, or related roles.
Experience in B2B sales, in the technology or security industries and/or a sales background from IAM Software or SaaS related technology.
Experience building new enablement programs and processes.
Strong team mindset and cross-functional collaborator with experience in training remote groups.
Familiar with sales enablement tools and sales methodologies, with demonstrable ability to transfer the knowledge to our internal customer (sales teams, sales leadership, & sales support organization).
Strong project management and organizational skills.
Highly effective interpersonal and verbal/written communication and presentation skills.
Creative and innovative, with a drive for continues improvement to virtual learning delivery.
Ability to quickly build rapport and maintain strong working relationships across a wide range of cultures and stakeholders.
