Job Description

As a Junior Paralegal, you’ll play a crucial role in supporting our legal team with document preparation and client file management. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in probate, estate planning, and real estate law. You’ll work directly with experienced attorneys, learning the intricacies of legal document creation and data management. Your attention to detail and proficiency with Microsoft Office will be key in maintaining our high standards of accuracy and client service. Responsibilities

  • Prepare legal documents such as deeds, HIPAA releases, and power of attorney forms using established templates
  • Input detailed property descriptions into transfer deeds and trust documents with high accuracy
  • Manage and organize client intake forms, ensuring all necessary information is collected
  • Type and format legal documents with precision, maintaining consistency and professionalism
  • Prioritize and complete weekly assignments efficiently
  • Communicate task status and questions to the supervising attorney
  • Review client files for completeness, flagging any missing information for attorney review
  • Assist with general administrative tasks to support the smooth operation of the law firm



Requirements

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word
  • Strong typing skills with emphasis on accuracy and speed
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities
  • Ability to work independently while following attorney guidance
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Strong desire to learn and grow in the legal field
  • No prior legal experience required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are essential
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to legal ethics
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable with technology and quick to adapt to new software or systems
