Job Description:

Responsible for definition, guidance and execution of product/ Platform-related activities for a particular portfolio through the entirety of product lifecycle, ensure industry alignment from strategy and roadmap definition to development and market readiness. Sets business objectives for the product / Platform development process and oversees execution, internal or external, as necessary. Works with minimal supervision. Develops and coaches teams to be able to identify, manage, and escalate risk, and effectively manages risk within the teams you oversee.

Responsibilities

·       Lead design, development and implementation of new product/Platform strategy to support both domestic and international partners.

·       Manages vendors and external providers to ensure delivery of the best quality services to Discover.

·       Closely liaison with internal and external stakeholders to deliver on shared goals and priorities.

 

Minimum Qualifications 

At a minimum, here’s what we need from you: 

·       Bachelors degree in Business, Technology, Finance, Engineering or related

·       6+ years of experience in Product Management, Project Management, Computer Science, Payments, Technology Solutions or related

·       In lieu of a degree, 8+ years of experience in Product Management, Project Management, Computer Science, Payments, Technology Solutions or related 

 

Preferred Qualifications 

If we had our say, we’d also look for: 

·       8+ years of experience in Product Management, Project Management, Computer Science, Payments, Technology Solutions or related

·       Experience and/or detailed knowledge of the Card Payments Network industry related to Disputes and Settlement processing.

Compensation:

The base pay for this position generally ranges between $103,000.00 to $174,200.00. Additional incentives may be provided as part of a market competitive total compensation package. Factors, such as but not limited to, geographical location, relevant experience, education, and skill level may impact the pay for this position.
