Job Description Qualifications:

Boeing Global Services is seeking a Lead or Senior Procurement Analyst (L4/L5) to join the Supplier Management organization in Dallas, TX. The selected candidate will collaborate to develop, analyze and maintain processes, tools, information and industry best practices including process performance and improvement, training and optimization. Performs responsibilities requiring the integration of disciplines from more than one supplier management and procurement job family and applies independent, specialized technical expertise to support a wide range of business objectives. Works cross-functionally with internal and external customers and suppliers and all employee levels to carry out responsibilities.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Provides technical and business guidance to integrate strategic supply chain activities by providing oversight of approaches, products and processes

  • Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals

  • Communicates strategic initiatives, projects or procurement activities. Leads cross-functional process management activities

  • Oversees efforts to mitigate risk and resolve issues related to processes, programs, projects and procurement transactions

  • Monitor, manage, and provide status/report outs as requested in support of the above including coordinating all stakeholders (e.g. business units, integration, legal, etc.)

  • Lead SAP Subject Matter Expert group

  • Supports business unit Supply Chain preparedness activities

  • Represents business unit Customs Trade Partnership CTPAT accreditation, participating in annual audits and supplier surveys

This position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite in Dallas, TX.  This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.

This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required.  “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee. 

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 5+ years of experience in Supplier Management/Procurement as a Purchasing Agent, Supplier Program Manager, Supply Chain Management Analyst/Item Manager, or Supply Base Manager

  • Experience leading teams

  • Strong analytic, problem solving and troubleshooting skills

  • Experience leading key process, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives

  • Proficient in SAP Procure to Pay (PTP)

  • Experience and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

  • Ability to travel 25% of the time

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • EDI Experience

  • ASCM/APICS Certification is desirable

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher (in Business, Supply Chain Management, Program Management or related field)

Typical Education/Experience:

Level 4: Typically 10 or more years’ related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.

Level 5: Typically 15 or more years’ related work experience or relevant military experience. Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.

Relocation:
