Counter Server-Play On

Position pays $17.50/hr plus tips

 

The Counter Server is responsible for providing excellent service to Play On Guests while operating the Point-of-Sale system, preparing and serving food & Drinks, maintaining the cleanliness of e store and property.  Instructs guests on use of slot machines, assists with any issues, and performs ticket redemptions.

What does a Counter Server Do?:

• Promote a Friendly Atmosphere: Ensure a pleasant experience for all guests by creating a welcoming and friendly environment.
• Menu Assistance: Provide menus to guests approaching or seated at the bar, and answer any questions regarding menu options.
• Serve Drinks: Greet guests with a drink napkin and serve drinks according to our Alcohol Safe Policy, including verifying that guests are at least 21 years old.
• Operate Point-of-Sale System: Accept payments from guests, issue correct change, and accurately process loyalty payments, verifying guests before redeeming comps.
• Knowledge of Slot Machine Games: Maintain knowledge of slot machine games and instruct guests on their operation, as well as any available gaming incentives or promotions.
• Collaborate with Staff: Work collaboratively with Turning Stone staff, including gaming, technical, TS Rewards, and Cage staff, to ensure accurate and efficient gaming operations within the store. 

Having a Rewarding Career as a Counter Server Means:

• High School Diploma or High School Equivalency Diploma preferred.
• Must be able to communicate in a friendly and positive manner with guests, suppliers and co-workers.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays is required.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical functions and to count money is required
