Job Description
The Logistics Project Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing the physical processes in the Logistic Area for the Roseville California Semiconductor plant. This position will be responsible for the design of the processes for raw material flow, warehousing, production supply and finished goods handling by using the lean principles of Bosch.
Responsibilities
- Shaping the future processes in the logistics area in cooperation with various divisions.
- She/he will be a member of our Global Logistics Organization supporting the development, implementation, and management of strategies to provide optimal solutions.
- Support the transformation of existing processes into future-oriented processes by using the latest logistics and IT solutions.
- Analyzing the current material flow-concept and developing an optimized solution by focusing on efficiency and traceability within the warehouse and production area.
- Execute the installation of a semiconductor buffer warehouse (Die Bank).
- Managing the renovation of the logistics area in close collaboration with Facility Management.
- Active role in digitalization and automation strategy inside production planning logistics area.
- Assist in internal compliance requirements and execution.
- Develop accuracy of metrics and logistics performance with enhanced forecasting modeling processes for daily operations.
- Recommend and implement continuous improvement recommendations.
- Travel (including internationally) as needed.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Materials & Logistics, Business, Operations, Engineering or related field.
- 5+ years of relevant work experience in an operations environment.
- 3+ years project management experience within logistics management.
- Demonstrated experience implementing logistics warehouse solutions.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a complex manufacturing environment.
- A proven self-motivated, conscientious, team player with business acumen.
- Proficiency to identify and develop solutions to business issues as they arise - with an internal or external customer.
- Strong communications skills with a team player focus on collaboration.
- ERP (SAP) - Advanced (Desired)
- Microsoft Office (Excel, PPT, Power BI) – Advanced
- Working Knowledge of in logistics and/or manufacturing – Advanced
- Project Management, yellow belt or green belt certification desired.
Additional Information
- This role will work on site in Roseville, CA.
- This position works Monday- Friday, additional hours as necessary.

The U.S. base salary range for this full-time position is $90,000 - $125,000. Within the range, individual pay is determined based on several factors, including, but not limited to, work experience and job knowledge, complexity of the role, job location, etc. Your Recruiter can share more details about the specific salary range for this position during the interview process.
