With over two decades of experience in the maintenance and construction industries, we are seeking to welcome an Commercial Painter to join our dynamic team.

Scope of Work:

The successful  candidate will perform routine to moderately complex surface  preparation, painting, and finishing tasks, applying a variety of  methods and techniques to both interior and exterior surfaces.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Apply paints, sealers, and solvents to exterior and interior building surfaces such as plaster, Sheetrock, concrete, and wood
• Perform building exterior and interior caulking, finish repair, mud and tape, and texturing tasks
• Operate equipment such as airless spray equipment, scaffolding, and motorized lifts
• Use mechanized high-reach equipment to renew caulking on exterior building panel seams, windows, and doors
• Perform special refinishing tasks including wood surface preparation, staining, and sealing
• Ensure  proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies;  promotes continuous improvement of workplace safety and environmental  practices
• Perform minor plaster repair, blending newly renovated wall surfaces with existing plaster
• Survey building painting project sites to estimate time and material quantities required; selects appropriate surface coatings.
• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role

Physical Requirements:

• Work  involves almost constant exposure to unusual elements, such as extreme  temperatures, toxic chemicals, bio hazardous materials, dirt, dust,  fumes, smoke, and/or loud noises
• Work environment involves some exposure to hazards or physical risks, which require following basic safety precautions
• Considerable  physical activity. Requires heavy lifting, pushing, or pulling required  of objects up to 50 pounds. Must be capable of climbing and working  from ladders up to 36 feet

Shifts: 6:00am – 2:30pm, 2:00pm – 10:30pm, 10:00pm – 6:30am 

Compensation:  $20.00- $24.00 per hour (Based on experience), Medical, Vision, Life, and 401k
