<p><b>Job Description Summary</b></p>Senior FRA Specialist Inventory Accounting &amp; Novartis Product Margin Reporting will be responsible for multiple aspects of the accounting and reporting of inventory balances, which includes month-end closings, reporting, reconciliations, financial controls, while collaborating closely with business partners from country and above-country FRA teams, Supply Chain and country BPAs. Furthermore, responsibilities embrace high quality reporting &amp; reconciliation of Novartis product margin reporting (NPMR).<p><br/> </p><p><b>Job Description</b></p><p><b>Key Responsibilities:</b></p><p><span>•</span><span> </span> Manage month end closing process by performing account reconciliations and ensuring all balance sheet and income statement inventory accounts are correctly represented.</p><p><span>•</span><span> </span> Manage monthly inventory reserve process, including booking auto trade reserve program and manual journal entries.</p><p><span>•</span><span> </span> Manage the monthly slow mover / no mover provision process, while complying with Novartis Accounting Manual (NAM) requirements.</p><p><span>•</span><span> </span> Manage &amp; analyze product revaluation &amp; devaluation impacting inventory reserves.</p><p><span>•</span><span> </span> Manage the Novartis Product Margin Reporting (NPMR) process, including cost, bill of material (BoM), income statement and inventory download, analysis and upload.</p><p><span>•</span><span> </span> Drive operational excellence with full alignment with all Novartis business, compliance and audit requirements.</p><p><span>•</span><span> </span> Collaborate with internal &amp; external stakeholders, which encompasses cross-functional collaboration with country and above-country FRA teams, Supply Chain and BPAs but not limited to internal &amp; external accounting <span>authorities/auditors,</span> while ensuring appropriate communication with these stakeholders when questions regarding inventory accounting &amp; NPMR matters arise.</p><p><span>•</span><span> </span> Provide financial accounting services and data in a timely and accurate manner, which requires appropriate information is provided to relevant individuals and external bodies.</p><p><span>•</span><span> </span> Ensure the effective application of Novartis related control procedures (SOX/NFCM) within scope of responsibility.</p><p></p><p><b>Key Requirements:</b></p><p><span>• </span>The applicant must have at least 5 years of experience in the finance field.</p><p><span>• </span>The job requires working effectively in a multi-national matrix organization, and the ability to build productive business partnerships.</p><p><span>• </span>Applicants should have knowledge of IFRS, accounting and financial reporting requirements, SAP, and experience in working with MS application e.g. Excel.</p><p><span>• </span>The candidate should possess an undergraduate degree in Accounting and/or Finance, with a preference for an advanced degree in Finance, Accounting or Business.</p><p><span>• Professional level of </span>English both written and spoken</p><p></p><p><b>You’ll receive:</b></p><p>Monthly pension contribution matching your individual contribution up to 3% of your gross monthly base salary; Risk Life Insurance (full cost covered by Novartis); 5-week holiday per year; (1 week above the Labour Law requirement) ; 4 paid sick days within one calendar year in case of absence due to sickness without a medical sickness report; Cafeteria employee benefit program – choice of benefits from Benefit Plus Cafeteria in the amount of 17,500 CZK per year; Meal vouchers in amount of 105 CZK for each working day (full tax covered by company); Public Transportation allowance; MultiSport Card, Employee Share Purchase Plan.
