Job Summary

Responsible for recruitment, building eligibility waitlist as assigned, enrollment of children/families and providing required health and social services once enrolled. Overall site support and management and ensure center compliance with health, social services, enrollment, and parent involvement requirements. Utilize the Children’s Paradise Program and Compliance Standard Operating Procedures to ensure compliance.


Summary of Essential Job Functions

  • Responsible to support the Site Director of Education to ensure compliance with all Title 5 regulations, Licensing regulations, agency policies and procedures, program compliance, and Education Code as applicable. Reference CA Code of Regulations, Title 22 Sections 101215 and 1010215.1
  • Responsible to support the Site Director of Education in accordance with Title 5, licensing requirements and site needs. Designated Site Supervisor in the absence of the Site Director.
  • Site support as needed to maintain implementation of funding requirements: Quality Preschool Initiative (Maintenance of Tier 5 – QRIS status), Head Start/Early Head Start, California State Preschool Program, and other funding sources to include documentation in Care Connect and ChildPlus.


Requirements

  •  High school diploma or GED
  •  24 Units in Child Development or enrolled in Child Development course/s and working towards 24 Units
  •  Bilingual in English/Spanish (speaking, writing, reading)
  •  Child Development Permit through State of California – Site Supervisor Permit
  •  Intermediate computer skills including performing data entry, e-mail, internet usage
  •  Family centered case management skills
  •  Community resources preferred
  •  Valid California Driver’s License
  •  Certification in Pediatric First Aid and CPR must be met within 90 days of employment
  •  Must meet and maintain State law and County licensing requirements regarding employment in a childcare center (Fingerprints, TB and Physical).


Physical Requirements

  • Ability to work at various locations, as needed
  • Ability to walk, sit, and stand for extended periods of time
  • Ability to lift up to 35 pounds to support children
  • Ability to bend and squat to interact with children
