Position Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Merchandiser to support the Director of Retail in managing the golf shop’s retail operations. This role is ideal for someone passionate about retail, golf, and creating memorable guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with receiving, tagging, and displaying merchandise
• Maintain visual merchandising standards and ensure product presentation aligns with brand guidelines
• Monitor inventory levels and assist with restocking and reordering
• Provide excellent customer service and product knowledge to guests
• Support sales initiatives and promotions
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and inviting retail space
• Assist with monthly inventory counts and reporting
• Help train and monitor the Retail Sales Associates, assisting at the counter when needed
• Collaborate with team members to meet sales goals and enhance the guest experience

Qualifications

• Previous retail or merchandising experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
• Passion for golf or familiarity with golf merchandise is a plus
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and stand for extended periods

Compensation: $20–$22/hour
