Job requirements
Oracle DBAWe are seeking a Database Administrator (DBA) to support and maintain Oracle, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB Atlas environments. This role focuses on database architecture, administration, troubleshooting, and optimization to ensure performance, security, and reliability. The DBA will collaborate with application and infrastructure teams to implement best practices and resolve technical challenges.
Location: Orlando, FL area preferred
What you'll be doing
Database Administration:
Support Oracle, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB Atlas databases.
Monitor performance, optimize queries, and manage security.
Oversee backups, disaster recovery, migrations, and upgrades.
Implement schema changes and maintain user access controls.
Problem Resolution & Collaboration:
Act as a bridge between DBA, application, infrastructure teams, and vendors.
Support database design, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
Automate routine administrative tasks using shell scripting, SQL, and stored procedures.
Cloud & Data Management:
Manage cloud-based databases in AWS and Azure environments.
Support data warehousing and reporting needs.
What we're looking for
Bachelor's in computer science, IT, or related field.
AWS Certified Solutions Architect (preferred).
Experience with PostgreSQL, Oracle, and MongoDB Atlas.
Proficiency in SQL, query tuning, and database optimization.
Strong grasp of ACID principles, backup & recovery, DDL vs. DML, and log shipping.
Familiarity with cloud databases (AWS/Azure) and data warehousing.
Strong problem-solving, communication, and multitasking abilities.
