The Role
IEQ Capital is seeking an Associate candidate to join our Dallas-based team. Candidates must have experience in a client service‐related role. They should be effective communicators, problem solvers, and demonstrate a passion for client service and project management.
Associates serve as a valuable and critical member of the Family Office team, providing execution in the following areas:
- Engaged culture carrier and contribute to firm‐wide initiatives
- Promote and ensure respect for client privacy and confidentiality in all matters
- Participate in project work to improve internal processes and procedures, driving Firm growth
- Effective communication and problem resolution
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage operations for client relationships and support senior members of the Family Office team on complex client relationships
- Collaborate with the client team to execute and track client’s financial planning needs, in the areas of estate planning, philanthropy, insurance, private banking, real estate and investments
- Provide a high‐touch and seamless client experience, with proactive problem solving and thoughtful communication
- Manage and execute the new client onboarding and account opening processes
- Provide ongoing maintenance of client brokerage accounts
- Process money movement and cashiering needs, including check and wire requests, bill payment, and account reconciliation
- Help facilitate client‐directed investments through subscription document preparation and coordination with investment administrators
- Foster strategic relationships with custodian service teams and external partners, such as attorneys, trust administrators, CPAs, insurance brokers, estate managers and executive assistants
- Maintain private client files/records and tracking deadlines using a CRM and other systems, with a rigorous focus on data integrity
- Assist with training and mentoring Family Office Associates new to the Firm
- Adhere to the firm’s compliance requirements and operational policies and procedures
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 1+ years of relevant work experience in the financial services industry or experience in a client‐ service role
- Strong work ethic and comfortable working in a fast‐paced environment
- Commitment to high integrity
- Passion for helping others and providing high‐touch client service
- Collaborative and dedicated team player
- Highly organized, with a strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Comfortable learning and utilizing CRM and wed‐based systems
