Psychiatrist - Addiction Response Team (27965)

Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is adding a Psychiatrist - Addiction Response Team to the group at NYC Health + Hospitals/Harlem.  Harlem Hospital is the largest hospital in Central Harlem and the only Safety Net Hospital in Northern Manhattan. Opportunity Details:

• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to address the clinical needs for patients presenting with substance abuse disorders on all non-Psychiatric services in the hospital.
• Provide clinical care in the Addiction Clinic, as necessary.  
• Day shift available.

• Board Certification in General Psychiatry
• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Addiction Medicine
• License to practice medicine in the State of New York

Wages and Benefits include:

Annual Base Salary: $255,900* (board eligible); $266,200* (board certified) based on 40-hour work week. Additional compensation available for extra call or sessional/per diem hours.

The annual total value of the compensation package is estimated at $425,490** (board eligible) and $436,820** (board certified), which includes the baseline salary, 401(k) contribution, sessional/per diem hours, and other factors as set forth below:

• Estimated annual compensation for 10 additional sessional/per diem hours worked per week is $104,000***.
• Projected bonus of up to $40,000 (based on previous year’s average), contingent upon meeting quality and productivity targets.

  • Employees are immediately vested in a 3% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required.
  • After one year of service, employees receive an additional 7% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required.
