JOB DESCRIPTION:

General Summary:
• Plan, manage and evaluate the work of machine operators to ensure customers’ expectations are met • Must exercise continuous leadership to focus plant efforts on
priorities to accomplish plant’s short and long range objectives
• Implement policies and procedures; recommends improvements in
production methods, machining procedures and working conditions
• Lead train and coordinate the activities of staff; Execute light
to moderate repairs on equipment of all types and sizes
• Collaborate with other departments, regarding orders and delivery
schedules
• Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
• Supervisory skills, including employee hiring and retention,
performance review, discipline and conflict resolution
• Demonstrated ability to lead people and get results through
others; team player
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work well under
pressure
• Analytical and problem solving skills
• Bachelor's degree required
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and LEAN methods to improve
them
• Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external
customers (oral and written format)
• MS Office Suite: Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
