We are looking for a future caregiver to take on the role of a Inpatient Pharmacy Technician within our world-class team of caregivers. Within this role, under the direct supervision of the Pharmacist, the Pharmacy Technician is responsible for performing routine pharmacy duties and assisting the registered Pharmacists with technical pharmacy operations. The Pharmacy Technician works in accordance with established practices, procedures, and administrative policies.

A caregiver in this position works days from 3:00 p.m. – 11:30 p.m. with every other weekend requirements
A caregiver who excels in this role will:
- Assist pharmacists in filling inpatient orders, including completion of necessary documentation.
- Prepare, deliver and collect all pharmacy items throughout the medical center including re-stocking of automated dispensing cabinets.
- Perform floor checks, stock check and assigned unit review as required.
- Complete all Pharmacy Keeper Activities and inspections assigned to their position.
- Assist Pharmacists in monitoring stock for outdated medications and properly disposing of them in a timely manner.
- Process medication returns / refunds to patient accounts.
- Compound non-sterile medications according to USP795 regulations.
- Prepackage medication as necessary and according to established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
