Risk and Identity Solutions team within VAS (Value added Services) organization is looking for a curious, enthusiastic, empathetic, technical leader to help our engineering team be the best they can be, solve problems, execute on ideas, advocate for the customer, and contribute to a team culture built on trust and mutual respect. As a Sr Manager, you will set the vision and strategy for the application development team – ensuring that our solutions are flexible, performant, resilient and provides our customers with the best possible experience. This role is a managerial and hands-on technology role.

Essential Functions

• Experienced in managing portfolios and programs of large and medium size 

• Strategic thinker who is adept at managing complex client-vendor relationships and delivering global solutions on time and within budget by building and leading high-performing teams 

• Proficient in analyzing & translating business requirements to technical and architectural requirements, working with cross functional teams 

• Consistently develops very strong, sustainable relationships with team, peers, business partners and executive decision makers 

• Design, code, unit test, document, and implement new solutions as well as existing applications

• Contribute to enhancements and changes to existing B2B applications codebase 

• Develop code that complies with design specifications and meets security best practices 

• Coding must adhere to all standards for security, be easily maintainable, and have high system performance 

• Collaborate with Development & QA staff on individual and team deliverables 

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced organization 

• Create documentation and procedures for deployments and maintenance    

• Identify opportunities for future enhancements and refinements to standards, best practices, and development methodologies 

• Work closely with project team and other groups (e.g. Network, QA, Ops, Engineering) 

• Participate in design and code review sessions as appropriate, to ensure the quality of work delivered by self and teammates are in accordance with development standards 

• Interact with business units to define requirements/modifications and use case to utilize in designing appropriate solutions 

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:
• 8+ years of relevant work experience and a Bachelors degree, OR 11+ years of relevant work experience

Preferred Qualifications:
• 9 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or 7 or more relevant years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 3 or more years of experience with a PhD
