Crew and Contract Support Generalist (NJUS)

Purpose of Position
The Crew and Contract Support Generalist functions as a single point of contact for bargaining group inquiries regarding topics which are not mission critical or essential to current day operations, including contract clarification. Each Generalist is assigned a subset of bargaining employees and responsible for developing trust and strong personal relationships to ensure positive employment experiences from probation to resignation. The role must also develop an extensive internal network, particularly at remote locations, in order to leverage those resources to provide the highest level of service to each employee.
Tasks and Responsibilities
- Aid employees in the onboarding process through training, forms management, IT requests, etc., and provide appropriate achnowledgement and closure when the employees career comes to its end. Recognize important milestones throughoout each employee's career.
- Complete non-critical operational tasks and provide timely resolutions to all inquiries according to established service level agreements, collective bargaining agreements, federal regulations, and internal policy manuals.
- Provide support to Labor and Employee Relations functions where direct communicaiton with the employee is needed, such as well-checks.
- Quarterly travel to Service Hubs and other remote locations to meet and further build relationships with business partners, and interact with and assist bargaining employees who are traveling through those locations.

- Ability to drive compliance with company / employment contractual policies and procedures as well as identify areas that may require refinement.
