Site Integration and Collaboration Program, Co-Director (Duke Project Planner II)

 

The Co-Director for the NCCTS Site Integration and Collaboration (SIC) Program works closely with the other SIC Co-Director to lead the team, and fulfill the following leadership expectations:

 

Leadership Expectations

The Co-Directors for the SIC Program:

  • Provide co-leadership and management of the NCCTS SIC Program
  • Direct and lead activities designed to engage and build capacity of NCCTS staff to support the Network
  • Provide trauma-informed technical assistance (TA) and consultation to an assigned portfolio of grantee sites
  • Represent the SIC Program on key cross-program initiatives
  • Lead the team, working together to set priorities and manage SIC resources.
  • Participate in program planning with Leadership to set program level priorities
  • Lead and develop important initiatives that engage and build capacity of NCCTS staff to effectively support NCTSN sites, network integration, and collaborative activities, working across the whole NCCTS, engaging and collaborating with all teams.
  • Develop and test strategies to increase effective communication, coordination, and engagement of NCCTS staff with Network sites, in order to create clear pathways for Network members to get the assistance they need, no matter what door they enter.  
  • Direct the management of Network collaborative spaces including the *Unicorn group
  • Join a wide range of NCCTS and Network spaces, in order to bring forward information from the SIC Program, particularly related to Network needs, trends, and challenges. 
  • Use knowledge and relationships to help and advise NCCTS teams to improve how they do their work, to better embody NCCTS values and advance shared priorities, e.g., accessibility, partnering. 
  • Design and lead an orientation program for new NCTSN grantee cohorts that engages NCCTS staff across programs.

 

These tasks should be done in a manner that is consistent with NCTSN and NCCTS values and is responsive to the needs of a rapidly growing Network.

 

*NCCTS Infrastructure Group that develops processes related to collaborative groups, shares challenges and best practices, manages new group formation and leadership change.

Position Responsibilities:

Provide co-leadership and management of the NCCTS Site Integration and Collaboration Program

  • Supports and supervises staff, trains and onboards new staff, creates an internal reporting structure, supports professional development
  • Contributes to NCCTS leadership including internal groups like the Leadership Cross-Team Huddle, Program Planning and Network-facing groups like the Steering Committee on cross-Center priorities and activities, reports back to the SIC team any Leadership communications or organization-wide efforts, and brings any feedback or contributions from the SIC back to those leadership spaces
  • Participates as a member of the NCCTS Leadership Cross-Team Huddle providing recommendations to the Leadership Strategy Team on cross-Center priorities and activities.
  • Works with the SIC Program Co-Director to set priorities, manage SIC resources, and support and supervise the team.
  • Co-creates and develops strategies for the management of program initiatives and continual infrastructure improvements, necessary to accommodate network growth
  • Reports on activities and progress toward NCTSN goals through evaluation and reporting structures in partnership with the NCCTS Data and Evaluation Program (DEP). This task includes considering feasible metrics and/or evaluation strategies to monitor changes and needs for improvement. 
  • Monitors and provides programmatic budgetary oversight and input.
