QC Micro Associate

Sun-Wed 6AM to 430PM Shift

PURPOSE AND SCOPE OF POSITION:

The primary focus of the Quality Control (QC) Micro Associate, role will be to perform GMP testing to support product release and in-process testing. This role will also provide technical support and troubleshooting for microbiological tests.

REQUIRED COMPETENCIES:  Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

Education:

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience

Experience

0-2+ years of regulated industry experience or equivalent combination of education and experience

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform GMP lot release and in-process testing for microbiological test methods and perform data analysis using various electronic instruments and computer systems
• Support assay transfer and method validation by executing validation protocols and generating data/results to support the final report
• Assist in the implementation of new assay methodologies and the associated instruments
• Operate and maintain microbiological instruments according to standard operating procedures
• Participate in cross-functional training
• Author and revise standard operating procedures and test methods
• Identify and facilitate continuous improvement projects
• Lead small scope projects

WORKING CONDITIONS (US Only):

The role is set in a controlled environment where the analyst will don personnel protective equipment (PPE) for personnel safety and for contamination control strategy. Analysts in this role may stand for 4-6 hours during assay performance.

Compensation Overview:

Bothell - WA - US: $35.29 - $42.77per hour

The starting compensation range(s) for this role are listed above for a full-time employee (FTE) basis. Additional incentive cash and stock opportunities (based on eligibility) may be available. The starting pay rate takes into account characteristics of the job, such as required skills, where the job is performed, the employee’s work schedule, job-related knowledge, and experience. Final, individual compensation will be decided based on demonstrated experience.
