Join us in shaping the future of our customer portal with your expertise and leadership!  </p> <p> </p> <ul> <li>Lead the design, development, testing, and deployment of robust and scalable solutions for our customer portal, demonstrating deep expertise across the entire technology stack.  </li> <li>Architect and design scalable and maintainable solutions, considering both front-end and back-end components, with a focus on performance, security and user experience.  </li> <li>Lead the development of server-side logic and services, utilizing your expertise in server-side technologies mainly in Java.  </li> <li>Provide expert-level contributions to the development of intuitive and responsive user interfaces using modern front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and leading frameworks.  </li> <li>Implement and manage integrations with third-party services and APIs to enhance the functionality and connectivity of the customer portal.  </li> <li>Conduct thorough code reviews, ensure code quality, and contribute to the improvement of development processes and best practices.  </li> <li>Keep abreast of the latest industry trends, best practices, and technologies, and propose their integration into the application development process as appropriate.  </li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><b>What you bring </b></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.  </li> <li>8+ years of experience in software development for production applications in Java ( Version11+) </li> <li>Experience implementing integration design patterns, especially in a microservices or event-driven architecture  </li> <li>Experience in designing and developing RESTful APIs and integrating them seamlessly with front-end components. </li> <li>Expertise in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript. Proficiency in at least one leading front-end framework (React, Angular, Vue.js or similar), SAPUI5 is a plus </li> <li>Strong understanding of database technologies (SQL, NoSQL) and demonstrated experience in data modelling and efficient data manipulation. </li> <li>Knowledgeable in handling CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, GitLab, Gradle or similar. </li> <li>Experienced with version control platforms such as GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket or similar.  </li> <li>Understanding of the OData specification (Open Data Protocol) is a plus. </li> <li>Prior experience in leading and mentoring development teams is a plus.  </li> <li>Effective collaboration and communication skills for working within a cross-functional Agile Scrum team in English.  </li> <li>Excellent problem-solving abilities </li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><b>Meet your team </b></p> <p>The Customer Portals organization is responsible to define and implement SAP’s customer &amp; partner portal SAP for Me which is one of the three main digital access points to SAP.
