Our therapists frequently visit patients in their homes, delivering skilled therapy practices in a comfortable and familiar environment. Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments of patients referred by physicians to determine specific rehabilitation needs. Design and implement individualized treatment plans that align with the physician's directives and the patient’s goals. Utilize a variety of therapeutic modalities and techniques to address diverse patient needs within orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine populations. Deliver exceptional customer service to enhance the patient experience and contribute to the overall effectiveness of our clinic. Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to establish and achieve optimal patient outcomes through research-driven practices. Instruct patients and their caregivers on strategies for managing conditions, ensuring clarity and understanding of therapeutic approaches. Patient Population / Client Focus Our therapists engage with a diverse clientele, ranging from children with developmental disorders to adults recovering from orthopedic surgeries or neurological conditions. Qualifications A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution. Current licensure as a Physical Therapist by the state of Virginia, demonstrating you meet all required qualifications. A minimum of two years of professional experience in a physical therapy setting. Current CPR certification to ensure readiness in emergency situations. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, facilitating clear interactions with patients and team members. Proficiency in computer skills and basic word processing to assist with patient documentation and reporting.
