Responsibilities

• Responsible for developing and communicating a coordinated corporate calendar
• Creating event marketing plans to meet the company's goals.
• Create and execute high-touch events consistent with Texas Capital Bank brand standards
• Liaise with other Texas Capital lines of business to leverage and consolidate ideas, shared resources and cross sell event opportunities
• Think strategically with the ability to problem solve and offer creative solutions at a moment's notice
• Conduct event management tasks from start to finish including maintaining event budgets, negotiation with vendors, invoice processing and production of event materials
• Coordination of post-event tasks such as final data management and event debrief documents
• Participate in weekly team meetings, budget calls, and multiple banker meetings providing event updates, where you will be positioned as the strategic event thought partner and expert

Qualifications

• 10+ yrs. in corporate event marketing or event management related activities
• Creative, self-motivated, and excited to be a part of a high-performing team
• Strategic thinker with the ability to problem solve and offer creative solutions
• Must be able to multi-task and work under tight deadlines
• Strong proficiency working in Cvent, Microsoft Products (Excel, Word & PowerPoint), Outlook
• Ability to work from the Dallas office full time
• Ability to work early morning and late evening events when needed
• Ability to travel when needed
• Ability to liaise with senior leadership
• In addition, s/he will have and the charisma, presence, and communication skills to establish credibility and inspire confidence both internally and externally. The successful candidate will have an exceptional work ethic and a background reflecting a high level of achievement. This person will be detail-oriented with superior organization skills and can effectively manage large quantities of information.
• It is critical that the successful candidate possess excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills, as well as being detail oriented, data driven, tech savvy, and efficient. S/he will be intellectually curious and embrace continuous improvement, constantly seeking ways to make things better, faster, more efficient. Finally, the successful candidate must be comfortable traveling to the cities they cover and attending conferences with the lines of business.
