About the role
Our Guest Services and Housing department has a very rare, part-time opportunity for a Hospitality Attendant. The shift is Saturdays and Sundays from 5:30 am - 2:00 pm.
Before sunrise, the hospitality attendant is ensuring the breakfast bar and dining area ready for our patients and families.
Other key tasks for our hospitality attendant are:
- Providing excellent customer service to all of our guests.
- Maintaining the breakfast bar product quality and cleanliness.
- Providing assistance to the house management, volunteer department, and front
desk department.

Responsibilities:
- Must be able to work each Saturday and Sunday, 5:30 am - 2:00 pm.
- Provides exemplary guest service, interacting with guests, offering assistance, greeting, offering warm conversation and doing whatever is needed to provide the very best guest experience.
- Checks to ensure microwaves are clean.
- Ensures there is fresh coffee made for breakfast bar.
- Sets plates, napkins, eating utensils, etc. on buffet line.
- Ensures cereal display is full and neat.
- Fills baskets/trays with sugar, creamer, jellies and stirrers.
- Ensures fruit is fresh and looks appealing.
- Ensures all pastries and other bread items are stocked and fresh.
- Maintains the cleanliness of the breakfast bar and the eating area.
- Inventories replacement food, beverages, paper goods and condiments as needed.
- Checks delivery of ordered items and stores as appropriate, signing and dating the invoice to give to Administrative Specialist.
- Cleans and stores all equipment and food after end of breakfast period.
- Wipes all tables and chairs and places back in order.
- Enforces house rules and intervenes when necessary in an appropriate manner.
- Notifies appropriate housing staff of family or patient problems or facility-related problems requiring attention.
- Responds appropriately to any facility needs or emergency as outlined in the policy and procedure manual.
- Assists the Events and Volunteer Services Coordinator with groups and organizations scheduled to provide meals, activities or entertainment for the residents.
- Assist MOD (manager on duty) at the Tri Delta House with guest related tasks as needed based on schedule.
- Provides support to the front desk with tasks and coverage as needed, especially during high volume times.
- Assists with weekly Pantry needs, activities, and inventory for Target House and Parcels.
- Performs other related duties as assigned or directed in order to meet the goals and objectives of the department.
- Maintains regular and predictable attendance.
Minimum Education and/or Training:
- High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum Experience:
- One (1) years of experience in a service-oriented, customer-focused environment
