Job Title: Junior Finance Controller

Location: Warsaw, Poland

Job Description

You will report into Finance Manager CEE & CIS and support to for 20 markets P&L covering cluster. Implement Controlling checks and plans on budgets, financial reports, forecasts, direct and indirect costs, actual vs. budgeted and cost variance analysis.

Key Responsibilities

  • Upload data (volumes) for monthly closing in accordance with corporate deadlines.
  • Upload data (volumes, prices, Opex) for monthly budgeting in accordance with corporate deadlines.
  • Update actual YTD data (sales, Opex).
  • Calculate sales-based values, accruals.
  • Check accuracy and completeness of data.
  • Monitoring of accounts receivables and in turn, communicate with distributors regarding overdue, follow up offsets and payments received.
  • Provide analysis on P&L variances.
  • Provide detailed analysis on Gross to Net and Variable Marketing expenses at country level, provide a clear report.
  • Support Business cases and Prices Strategy with some finance modelling.
  • Implement Controlling plans aligned to the other departments (RA, PV, Supply Chain).
  • Cooperate on activities connected to preparation of budgets, reporting tools, and forecast methods.
  • Implement and execute plans to monitor annual revenue/expense budgets for the purpose of controlling funds and measuring operating results.
  • Administer all processes to identify issues/trends, and forecasting annual results.
  • Collaborate to provide recommendations to management on budget and financial controls.
  • Implement budgetary policies and procedures.

Skills & Qualifications

  • A degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent finance focused subject and/or a professional finance qualification.
  • Proven experience of working in a similar role and / or at an equivalent level in a comparable business.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
  • Experience of working in distribution or a similar sector would be highly beneficial.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English.
