Job Summary

Summary<br>Responsible for providing strategic leadership and operational oversight to nursing departments, ensuring excellence in patient care, quality, and staff development. Directs nursing operations, policy development, and resource management to promote a safe and patient-centered environment in alignment with the organization's standards and goals.<br><br>Does this position require Patient Care?<br>Yes<br><br>Essential Functions<br>-Leads nursing teams in delivering high-quality, evidence-based patient care across departments. <br>
-Develops and implements nursing policies, procedures, and best practices per regulatory requirements. <br>
-Collaborates with medical and administrative leaders to enhance patient care standards and interdepartmental communication. <br>
-Oversees nursing budgets, resource allocation, and workforce planning to meet staffing and operational needs. <br>
-Implements staff development initiatives, fostering continuous learning and professional growth among nursing staff. <br>
-Monitors performance metrics, quality indicators, and patient outcomes to drive improvements in care delivery. <br>
-Ensures compliance with healthcare regulations, safety standards, and infection control protocols. <br>
-Develops and nurtures a patient-centered culture emphasizing empathy, accountability, and teamwork. <br>
-Represents nursing leadership in organizational planning and quality improvement initiatives. <br>


 

Qualifications

Education
Master's Degree Nursing required or Master's Degree Related Field of Study preferred or DNP/PhD preferred

Licenses and Credentials
Registered Nurse [RN - State License] - Generic - HR Only required

Experience
Nursing experience 8-10+ years required and Experience in a management or executive leadership role 5-7 years required
