The Senior Manager, Contracts Manager PositionSunnova Energy is searching for Senior Manager, Contracts Manager to be responsible for working hand in hand with internal stakeholders and the suppliers in developing and negotiating contracts to support the needs and requirements of the business.

The Senior Manager, Contracts Manager PositionSunnova Energy is searching for Senior Manager, Contracts Manager to be responsible for working hand in hand with internal stakeholders and the suppliers in developing and negotiating contracts to support the needs and requirements of the business.
Senior Manager, Contracts Manager Responsibilities
- Works closely with internal stakeholders including, but not limited to Compliance, Engineering, O&M, IT, Legal, Sales, Dealers, and Accounting.
- Negotiates agreements.
- In connection with Category Management, develops procurement strategies that enable Sunnova and its Dealer network to leverage agreements that enable mutual growth.
- Ensures that all agreements include and protect Sunnova’s and Sunnova’s customers data access and data rights.
- Collaborates with the Supply Chain Operations team to ensure that all contracts and agreements fully support Sunnova’s strategies with manufacturer and distributors.
- Participates in the improvement of existing processes to achieve key metrics.
- Collaborates with Product Line Management to develop sourcing strategies for the company.
- Participates in the Quarterly Business Reviews (QBR’s) with the Suppliers.
- Teams up with Product Engineering on new Supplier reviews, assessment and on boarding and master supply agreements (MSA) requirements.
- Works with O&M on long term supplier field support requirements.
- Works with Supplier Quality to ensure quality and field performance requirements are covered in the MSA’s.
- Works with corporate governance to ensure all social responsibility requirements are incorporated in the MSA’s.
- Works with Supply Chain to ensure all warehousing, logistic and fulfillment requirements are documented in the MSA.
- Monitors and report on industry trends, i.e., new products or services, pricing, etc.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Supply Chain Management.
- 6+ years’ related experience in experience in Procurement.
- 2+ years’ management experience.
- Experience managing direct reports.
- Full comprehension of all aspects of complex program management.
- Advanced knowledge of financial terms and principles conducts advanced financial analysis.
- Must have excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Must be an expert in MS Excel and enterprise relational database tools.
- Experience in logistics operations and performance analysis of complex programs.
- Experience working across and influencing all levels of the organization.
Preferred Qualifications
- Solar background.
- Recognized Certification as a project or program manager, PMP certification.
- Ability and willingness to travel as needed.
- Must be self-motivated and able to work independently.
- Must be able to perform the duties of the position to the highest ethical standards.
- Advanced skill in Excel.

Working Conditions
- Open-office environment; hybrid work schedule
