Role reports to: Senior Manager NA Inventory Optimization
Location: Summit, NJ.
Travel %: 10%
Pay: $98,000.00 - $146,000.00
What you will do
The Manager, NA Inventory Optimization leads inventory optimization processes and technologies across all North American franchises and markets. As the Inventory Projection Process owner and Subject Matter Expert, this role involves tracking cross-functional strategies to achieve targets. The ideal candidate will excel in stakeholder collaboration, including with executives, and will be a self-starter capable of working independently in a matrix environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage short- and long-term inventory strategy using existing reports, tools, and processes while developing new ones to define optimal inventory targets within NA Consumer.
- Drive action across businesses to achieve defined inventory targets.
- Define the right inventory targets and develop implementation plans across NA Consumer.
- Institute necessary business processes to ensure sustainable improvements to inventory management.
- Influence peers to drive action towards inventory goals and foster a culture focused on inventory management.
- Coach and develop indirect team members on inventory practices to enhance decision-making aligned with established strategies.
- Develop and conduct training on inventory processes to build knowledge across all levels of the organization.
- Navigate change management effectively, adapting processes and tools throughout the NA Consumer network, considering variations across different businesses and organizational evolution.
Qualifications
What we are looking for
- Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations Management, Finance, or Accounting; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years in relevant business roles, with a focus on Product Management, Demand/Supply Management, and preferably Inventory Management/Planning.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and summarize large datasets.
- Excellent oral, written, and presentation communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team.
