Journeyman Electrician

Job Description:

• Service and maintain commercial and residential electrical systems on an Emergency, Non-Emergency, and Preventative bases.
• Executes scheduled assignments, work requests and projects.
• Install, examine, replace, or repair electrical wiring, receptacles, switch boxes, conduits, feeders, Ethernet and coaxial cable assemblies, lighting fixtures, and other electrical.
• Maintain, repair, install and test switchgear, transformers.
• Some travel opportunities are available.
• Other duties and tasks as assigned by manager.

Job Requirements:

Must be able to perform the following: Lighting installation/fixtures, Wire and test control panels, bend and mount electrical conduit, start and test new control circuits, basic troubleshooting, fire alarm experience is a plus, lead and run crews of 2 or more apprentices, read blueprints, work at multiple job sites in a day and/or week, install, maintain and repair electrical systems in accordance with NEC guideline, pull and run wire, and install panels.
