In this role, you will be working as a member of the Chief Data & Financial Operations (CD&FO) team. As a Business Metadata Senior Analyst, AVP, you will be responsible for supporting the creation of and maintenance of key metadata in Collibra. Metadata is essential for effective data management, compliance, and ensuring that data is easily discoverable and usable.
This role could be ideal for a candidate with significant branch experience, who is looking to transition to a corporate role and broaden knowledge and skill set
Responsibilities
Create and maintain metadata in Collibra, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
Manage reference data, business glossary, KDEs, and data catalog.
Collaborate with various departments to gather and document metadata requirements.
Ensure metadata standards and guidelines are followed.
Assist in the design of metadata workflows to manage the metadata in Collibra.
Provide support and training to users on metadata tools and processes.
Provide review and challenge for KDE prioritization exercise.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Information Management, Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field
5+ years of banking or metadata experience
Banking subject matter knowledge from prior branch manager or teller experience can be substituted for metadata experience
Familiarity with Collibra or similar metadata management tools
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Experience with data governance
Knowledge of data management best practices and industry standards
Competency with Office 365, SharePoint, Visio, MS-Project, Alteryx, Collibra Data Governance, Collibra Data Quality, PowerBI, Tableau
The typical base pay range for this role is between $100K - $120K depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location. This role may also be eligible for certain discretionary performance-based bonus and/or incentive compensation.
