Salary Range:

$250,000.00 - $324,000.00

What’s the role?

Etsy is seeking a Director of Product Management to lead Etsy Ads, our on-site ad platform. Etsy Ads is used by our smallest and largest sellers to grow their businesses and it is one of Etsy’s major revenue streams. You will collaborate with the Ads product teams and company leadership to grow the platform and ensure that advertising on Etsy continues to be a great investment for our sellers. The work of the Ads team spans the end-to-end experience on Etsy.com and the Etsy app, from promoting your items as a seller to shopping with ads, as well as the machine learning and infrastructure in between.
 

We are looking for an experienced product leader who is comfortable running high-performing teams to meet specific customer and business goals. We need someone who can set a monetization strategy, foster the collaboration necessary for ML-powered experiences, and drive alignment for their product area across the company. This is a full-time position reporting to the Head of Search, Recommendations and Ads. In addition to salary, you will also be eligible for an equity package, an annual performance bonus, and our competitive benefits that support you and your family as part of your total rewards package at Etsy.

For this role, we are considering candidates based in the United States. Candidates living within commutable distance of Etsy’s Brooklyn Office Hub or in the San Francisco Bay Area may be the first to be considered. For candidates within commutable distance, Etsy requires in-office attendance once or twice per week depending on your proximity to the office. • How can we ensure that the right ads are put in front of the buyers while enabling all sellers to promote themselves?

• How should Etsy Ads help Etsy meet its short and long term financial targets?

What does the day-to-day look like?

• You will provide leadership for the Etsy Ads product

• You will manage a highly skilled and engaged team of PMs

• You will invest in the growth of your reports and their cross-functional partners

• You will collaborate with all Ads leads to craft plans to achieve business goals.

• You will work with leaders from across the company to set the direction of Etsy’s advertising platform
