About the role

Experienced Community Director? Your Next Leadership Opportunity Is in North Texas.

Associa Principal Management Group of North Texas is looking for an accomplished Community Director to join our leadership team.

You already know that great community management leadership is about far more than keeping operations moving.

It’s about developing strong Community Managers, building trusted client relationships, strengthening operational performance, and creating teams that communities want to work with and employees want to be part of.

If that sounds like the kind of leadership you bring, we want to talk.

The Opportunity

As a Community Director, you’ll play an important leadership role within Principal Management Group of North Texas, with responsibility for both people and operational performance.

You’ll:

  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of Community Managers
  • Oversee team and community operations
  • Monitor performance and support accountability across the team
  • Strengthen relationships with clients, boards, vendors, and key stakeholders
  • Partner with leadership on strategic planning, business development, and fiscal operations
  • Manage a small portfolio of HOA communities
  • Help shape a high-performing, client-focused culture within the branch

The position reports to the Vice President and includes oversight of operations, staff performance, stakeholder relationships, strategic planning, business development, fiscal operations, and a small portfolio.

What You Bring

We’re looking for an established community association leader who understands both the business and the people side of the industry.

Ideal candidates bring:

  • Significant HOA/community association management experience
  • Proven people leadership and supervisory experience
  • HOA budgeting expertise
  • Strong knowledge of Texas HOA management laws
  • Strong financial acumen and understanding of association financials
  • Exceptional client, board, and stakeholder communication skills
  • The ability to prioritize effectively in a fast-moving environment
  • A track record of developing teams, building relationships, and driving results

Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required. Relevant community association management, operational, and leadership experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.

While the original position profile lists several years of directly related, supervisory, and community association experience, I’d keep the public-facing post less rigid so we don’t lose highly qualified candidates whose career path doesn’t fit a precise year count. The underlying role profile does call for substantial related and leadership experience.

Lead What’s Next.

If you’re already leading in the community association management industry and are looking for an organization where you can have a broader impact, Associa Principal Management Group of North Texas may be your next move.

Bring your experience. Develop great teams. Strengthen great communities. Help us continue growing in North Texas.
