Senior Cost Accountant

Anduril is looking to for a Senior Cost Accountant to join our team. As a Senior Cost Accountant you will own the inputs to the cost data that inpacts operational decision made at Anduril.  In this role, you will work with teams from across the business to understand and build effective cost models.  Your work will vary from quick-turn ad hoc analysis, journal entries and reconciliation preparation to detailed cost models – all in the pursuit of helping grow the understanding and measurement of Cost at Anduril.

Here's What you’ll do:

• Perform standard Month-end close Procedures (posting jounal entires, reconcile accounts, etc)
• Assist daily business to ensure roadblocks are minimized
• Analyze variances against those costs and help drive the organization to find efficiencies in processes.
• Work with business partners to drive better inputs and processes for material flow
• Perform Cost/Qty Adjustments to inventory as needed
• Review/Approve certain PO’s
• Own weekly/yearly Inventory Counts in Atlanta facility

Here’s Who You Are:

• Bachelor's degree
• At least 1+ years of experience in Cost Accounting and 3+ years of professional experience
• Understanding of Cost Accounting Standards and Accounting for Government Contracting
• Strong communication skills
• You aren’t scared of detailed work but can easily translate details to managers
• You enjoy influencing and pushing the business forward and can handle a fast paced environment
• You take great pride in your work and can work with some ambiguity
• Collaboration within the Cost Accounting organization and with other teams (Supply Chain, Operations, Manufacturing, etc) excites you

The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations.
