Material Receipts Coordinator

GAC North America - Logistics is looking for candidates for the role of our Material Receipts Coordinator, to be based in Houston, Texas. Could it be you?

Job Description

• Primary responsible for issuing material receipts of cargo arriving at the warehouse and solving any discrepancies. Being able to complete customer expectations; participate in continuous improvement activities as part of the team and ensure company policies are followed.
  
• Material receipts within 24 hrs. KPI./ Verify material received is correct.
• Resolves receipt issues with material suppliers/ Analyse shipping documents, purchase orders, commercial invoices, and packing lists.
• Manage customer expectations through SOPs, KPIs, and other account specific metrics.
• Resolved OS&D within 24 hours of receipt..
• Identify ECCN and Schedule B./ Contact supplier for classifications.
• Review SDS to determine if the material is Hazardous to comply with requirements with carries and safety.
• Upload documents and pictures to the system./ To have proof when there is an issue to resolve and for identification.
• Adhere to company policies on HSSE, Compliance, etc.

Requirements

Job Requirement

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think and respond quickly to customer service issues.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Working knowledge in Microsoft Office (including PowerPoint), internet, web-based and job specific software applications.
• Eligible to work in the United States.
