Walmart Global Tech is looking to hire a seasoned Senior Data Scientist for their Personalization team in Bellevue/Sunnyvale. The Personalization team consists of platform, application engineers, scientists and product visionaries all working together to design, prototype and build technology-driven products and experiences that will change the future landscape of ecommerce. We are focused on building the global service layer that will enable the end-to-end customer experience, from finding the product to delivering it to the customer. This will span many markets, business models and form factors; therefore, we are looking for data scientists who will bring not only the experiences in technologies, but the curiosity and capability to innovate. What you'll do:

• Developing state of the art techniques in Machine Learning, Personalization and Recommendation Systems
• Design, implement and own the state of the art Machine Learning approaches including deep learning, reinforcement learning, and computer vision techniques
• Work with other tech leads on top-down or bottom-up initiatives and priorities
• Develop data models based on new data insights
• Design, architect and iterate on data models
• Iterate, challenge, and accelerate best practices in Personalization and Item Recommendations

What you'll bring:

• Master's degree/PHD in Data science, Computer Science or related fields with practical experience
• Expertise in Machine Learning, Statistics, Personalization and Item Recommendation algorithms
• Experience in data science and building and evaluating large scale machine learning & deep learning models
• Experience in designing and deploying highly scalable Recommenders Systems for e-commerce
• Curiosity in state-of-the-art techniques
