An Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Administrative Coordinator in Paterson, Washinton is available at Ste. Michelle Wine Estates (SMWE). This position is located at our Columbia Crest Winery. In this role, you will be responsible for administrative support to department staff, includes purchasing, tracking, and monitoring assigned databases and files. This position is full time and typically works 10 hours shifts for 4 days a week (Monday – Thursday).

EHS Administrative Coordinator job responsibilities include:
- Perform administrative support to department staff, including purchase of EHS material, budget tracking, and payment to vendors.
- Ensure that material safety data sheets are maintained and in good order for easy retrieval.
- Maintain all environmental, health, and safety databases, with monthly data entry for environmental KPIs.
- Support monthly and annual regulatory reporting to local and state environmental agencies.
- Work closely with our Vineyard, Winemaking, and Maintenance teams to gather EHS data.
- Maintaining training records and management of training schedules, including new hire orientation.
- Coordinate all HAZMAT training and meetings; Maintain hours for tracking.
- Coordinate incident management program records by entering data from all incidents, preparing quarterly reports for management and safety committees, reviewing data to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Maintain communication with Sales, Vineyard, and Winemaking personnel to ensure vineyard and winery tours are conducted in a safe manner.
- Maintain emergency roster
- Cross support for EHS, Security and Columbia Crest
- Follow company safety and GMP procedures and policies.
- Work cooperatively and collaboratively with others in a team environment.
Position Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required, secondary education is preferred
- Proficient with Microsoft Suite of programs (Word, Excel, Power Point, etc)
- Ability to lift up to 20lbs with or without reasonable accommodation
- History of responsible use of alcohol and other appropriate conduct, as well as fitness to be licensed, permitted, and/or certified by state and/or local regulatory bodies.
Your Compensation:
$22.71 - $29.51/hr. based upon relevant experience.
